Annet Mahendru

Mahendru, a Russian-Indian mother is born in Afghanistan. Mahendru is fluent of German Russian and English and also speaks French Persian and Hindi. Annet Mahendru was born to an Indian father as well as an Indian father and a Russian mother. In her early teens, Annet Mahendru choreographed and performed a dance that led to an appearance on German television show. The show featured a Russian-born snow maiden who was transformed into an exciting Indian dancer. Following her graduation from New York's high school, she earned her bachelor's in English degree at St. John's University. In her high school years, she took classes in acting at HB but left for improv at Groundlings School. She then played a variety of roles in comedy. The actress was born in Kabul Afghanistan, to Hindu-Indian Ghanshan Kenne Mahendru (father) and Russian Olga (mother). Her parents separated when she was 13 years old and she was moved into East Meadow New York with her father.She is a part of Matthew Rhys and Keri Russell on FX's The Americans. The role she played on FX's The Americans as Nina Sergeevna Krilova is one of her best television performance. The actress also appeared in Fox's The Following and NBC's The Blacklist.
